Slovenian composer, arranger, cornetist, and painter.
He became known primarily as a member of the ''Alpski kvintet ensemble'', where he played the cornet for many years.
He composed numerous Oberkrainer polkas and waltzes, including the well-known polka “Čas počitnic / Schöne Urlaubszeit” (Beautiful Vacation Time).
He also performed internationally with the Jazz Club Gajo Quintet, including at the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland.
He received numerous awards for his work:
Several gold records,
A diamond record in Austria,
The international “Oberkrainer Award,”
The Medal of Honor of the municipality of Radovljica.
In addition to music, he is also active as a visual artist (painter) and has presented his works in various exhibitions.
