Michael des Buissons (also known as Michael Charles du Buisson or Michel-Charles Dubuisson; born before 1550 in Budweis, Czech Republic, or Lille, France; died before 1570 in Innsbruck) was a prominent French-Flemish singer and composer of the Renaissance who was active in the 16th century. Although he was quite popular in his day and left behind a substantial body of work, he remains today—even among experts—a rather mysterious and little-studied musician. What is certain is that he spent a significant portion of his career as a singer in the service of the Habsburgs. From 1559 to 1564, he was a member of the Vienna court chapel under Emperor Ferdinand I. From 1564 to 1569, he sang in the Prague court chapel under Archduke Ferdinand II. In 1566, he moved with the chapel to Innsbruck, where he died before 1570.

Des Buissons was a technically highly skilled composer who moved with ease within the musical conventions of his time. More than 30 manuscript collections from the late 16th century contain his compositions. He also contributed a considerable number of works (including 26 motets) to the famous collection ''Novi Thesauri Musici''. He composed primarily sacred vocal music (motets and choral pieces).
