Robin Rudolph was born in 1966 in Heidelberg, and had his first classical guitar lesson in 1976. After 1980 he learned electronic guitar on his own and gathered experience in jazz and rock bands. After 1986 he studied piano with Jörg Sandner and began serious compositional studies.



In 1990 he founded, with Jörg Sandner, the legendary heavy metal jazz band "Weltpinguintag" (World Penguin Day) in Berlin. The group produced two CDs: "Weltpinguintag" and "Pinguine in der Bronx." and had numerous performances, among others with the "Franck-Band" with Radio Kultur. Since then he has been engaged in various musical projects. He makes a living as a technician with a public broadcast station in Berlin.
