Playful ''Song of Spring'' for 4 part mixed choir; text: Nikolaus Lenau (1802-1850). Note: in order to equalize the meter, the composer has slightly altered / extended the original text in the sixth line of each stanza. The last four lines of the original text are missing in the composition. They read: "He pulls the heart by chains of love / swiftly across many a gulf / and hurls his singing rockets, / the larks, into the air".
