Thury Horvath was born in 1948. He is a mechanic by profession; music has been his hobby since childhood. For the past two years he has been using Capella music notation software, which now brings him as much joy as it originally gave him problems. He is writing a music album with 106 titles from his own compositions. His style is primarily (German) folk music, although he is at home on the clarinet with an international repertoire. He has been an occasional composer for 30 years and has written over 250 compositions, of which nothing has yet been published outside of a narrow circle of colleagues.
