Michael Drewes : Tango Waltz
This somehow melancholic Tango Waltz (The title of this piece is in Spanish) came to my mind just after leaving the session I had with my psychoanalyst on Thursday, 26 January 2017. I produced it first in a version for string quartet, and later, in one for film orchestra. The themes are presented at each time by a solo of each instrument involved, with a different variation of the accompaniment. In the film orchestra version, they are even enhanced by either woodwind or brass.
