Büttner, Andreas 10/20/1963

Andreas Büttner (born 1963) studied piano at the conservatory in Speyer, Germany. In 1981 he completed his first choral conducting seminar. In 1989 he completed his church music studies, and in 1992 his music pedagogy and choral conducting studies, both in Speyer.



In 1989 he started a mobile music school and taught private lessons at home (today Andy´s Mobile Musikschule).



At the moment he directs six choirs, four of which he founded. He writes and arranges most of the music for the choirs. He has also toured extensively, e.g. in 1995 and 2005 San Francisco (90- and 100-year anniversary of the Pacific Singers' Association), Berlin (German Singers' Festival), Hungary (2006) .
