Karl Kempter : Pastoral mass in G Major (version for soloists, choir and orchestra)

Karl Kempter's Pastoral Mass in G combines relatively simple, easy-to-sing choral parts with an accompaniment that frequently uses typical pastoral timbres such as calm triad movements. It is also striking that individual sections of the mass are structured in such a way that they can be performed regularly even by smaller church choirs with limited personnel.
