Kassandra

Kassandra is the title of a story by the East German writer Christa Wolf. The story, which appeared simultaneously in East and West Germany in 1983, comments on events of the Trojan War from the perspective of Cassandra, the prophetess and daughter of the Trojan king. The music of the band Chiron served as a basis of the dance theatre production 'Kassandra' by Astrid Polacek-Draxl who was inspired by Christa Wolf's story.
