Mower, Mike: 20 Commandments

This volume of 20 graded compositions for solo flute incorporates various jazz, rock, latin and modern classical stylistic influences. They are written for both classical and jazz players, and it is hoped both school of players can learn something about each others art through these "crossover" pieces. They can be used both as practise studies and for solo performance. "20 Commandments" was written on demand, as an easier sequwl to "Fingerbusters!", Mike Mower's book of 5 virtuoso jazz miniatures for flute with backing cassette (M-70801-001-2). The edition is part of the ABRSM syllabus (grade 7)
