Strayhorn, Billy: Take the A Train

This popular tune composed by Billy Strayhorn is adapted for grade 4+ AATB saxophone quartet. It contains many elements from the original Duke Ellington recording, including the introduction that Duke played on piano and a quote from the lead-in to the trumpet solo. All players are featured at one time or another, making this arrangement one that should be in every saxophone quartet's library.
