Gassi, Vince: Impulse Power!

Impulse power, as a method of propulsion, is considered to be up to one quarter the speed of light. Though the tempo of this engaging work for young bands is not quite as fast as that, it does generate a great deal of energy and momentum. The driving opening gives way to an expressive lyrical section complemented by interesting harmonies before returning to the opening material and a percussive close. The resulting fusion is an exhilarating experience for young musicians.
