Arning, Eberhard: Himmel, Erde, Luft und Meer

A cantata with the following structure: three voices, two accompanying treble instruments (in this case trumpets) and a piano. The chorale verses are interpreted and deepened by Bible verses and performed by a narrator. This cantata is therefore ideal for the arrangement of a church service. It can be used flexibly and can be performed in parts at various points in the service. The familiar melody on which it is based makes this work recognizable for all churchgoers, while Arning's various movements impressively illustrate the text.
