Neefe, Christian Gottlob: 12 Klaviersonaten

This volume is a practical edition based on the 2006 reprint of volumes 10 and 11 of Denkmäler rheinischer Musik in einem Band (DOHR26347). Like the latter, the present edition combines reprints of the original Denkmäler editions of 1961/1964 (edited by Walter Thoene), is introduced by the new preface by Inge Forst and contains Neefe's autobiography in an appendix. In contrast to the Denkmäler volume, which is otherwise identical in content, the practical edition is available as a brochure and does not include a CD.
