Aschauer, Michael: Einblicke

This collection brings together six character pieces of medium difficulty composed in different periods of time. Emotional and at the same time unostentatious, these are small personal “documents” that – not superficially virtuosic, but rather introspective – draw on the musical language of the Romantic period and provide sensitive Insights into the soul, into the inner self. The atmospheric piano pieces are suitable for music lessons as well as for playing at home and can be performed as a small, self-contained cycle or individually. A subtly nuanced playing of delicate refinement allows this collection to unfold its impressive effect in concerts and recitals, too.
