Andreas Wittkopf : Going on a hike
Getting out into nature is always an adventure...
The basic instrumentation of the orchestral miniatures is always the same. Only the percussion changes from time to time—but in such a way that it can be played by a single player.
Since the miniatures are adaptations of short piano pieces for piano students, young people could be encouraged to play the piece in question before the orchestral version during a performance.
The minimum instrumentation is: Fl./Ob./Cl. (B)/Fg. // Hn. (F)/Trp. (B)/2 Pos/Tuba // Cajon // Strings (6/6/6/4/2)
