Georg Mehling : Bavarian Postscriptum
After I had revised my Bavarian Symphony again and shortened it drastically by about 25 pages, I first had to think: What do you do if you now have some parts left over that (in my opinion) would be too good to destroy?
The best thing to do is to write a new composition from this material. So I worked on it for about a month until a new composition emerged from it. And now for the title: Since it was originally a part of the "Bavarian Symphony", I thought of "Bavarian Epilog". I called my son to consult with him. He had a suggestion that I liked right away: "Bavarian Postscriptum".
