It tells you when and where the music plays, the type of musical presentation, recent performers, box office and ticket information (including phone and fax numbers), and complete descriptions of each host city, including musical titbits. Each chapter describes the musical heritage of the country or region covered, and gives readers ideas on when, where, and how to plan a musical vacation. The book includes a calendar of events of each of the eighteen countries covered so you can see, at a glance, what's being presented at any given time. Maps at the beginning of each chapter help locate the sites where music can be found.
