Be Thou My Vision

With its heartfelt poetry and moving melody, this hymn has a rich history dating back to the eighth century. Though its popularity rose only in the past fifty years or so, the original hymn originated in Ireland. It has a typical Irish form of ABCD - all 4 lines of the melody are different. This arrangement for grade 2 soloist with piano accompaniment has an introduction, statement of the theme, and an interlude followed by a variation and a coda.
