Davis, Miles: The Theme

Miles Davis often used this signature riff tune to close his concert sets. Using background figures and other elements from the original recordings, Paul Murtha has skillfully assembled a full-blown chart for young jazz ensembles. The opening section trades the theme between trumpet and tenor sax, and eventually the entire ensemble gets into the act.
