Hummel, Bertold: Playing Keys

A little piano album for my grandchildren

This is a collection of 16 piano pieces ranging from easy to intermediate level, which the composer wrote for his grandchildren. The term 'modern scenes for children' would also be appropriate; the pieces are pleasing, varied, musically demanding and suited to make children and adults alike familiar with contemporary sounds. Due to the wonderful illustrations painted by Ulrike Mueller, this book is also atreat for the eyes.
