Zyman, Samuel: Intuition

for Two Flutes

A dramatic introduction with an almost-Baroque feel leads to a highly energetic dance, propelled by folk rhythms of Zyman’s native Mexico. Co-commissioned by 46 flutists through the Flute New Music Consortium, the 10-minute INTUITION is a vital addition to the flute duo recital repertoire. For advanced performers. Many performances of INTUITION are available on YouTube.
