Choi, D.I.D.: Enter, Anew

This piece's triumphant character evokes the excitement, uncertainty, anticipation, and determination of embarking on new chapters in life. It inspires performers to clear their minds, refresh themselves, and enter with confidence. With both triumphant tutti moments and tender, expressive sections, the piece explores a range of textures and styles. Clarinets stay under the break and percussion drives the composition with a solid rhythmic foundation. An exciting and accessible addition to beginning band repertoire that sounds harder than it really is.
