44 Warm-Up and Performance Studies for Jazz, Pop and Gospel Choirs - Mit Aufnahmen der Swingle Singers

The 'Loop Songs' by Bertrand Gröger (Jazzchor Freiburg) are modern choral études for all SATB groups. Originally conceived as warm-ups or to break up the routine of repertoire rehearsals, many songs are also suitable as concert songs. The 44 compositions, divided into four levels of difficulty, allow for a varied training of stylistically typical rhythm, harmony and melody. By means of 'learning by singing', the singers acquire skills in singing scat syllables, timing and intonation. This collection, containing two and a half hours of music, covers a wide range of music genres: Swing, Latin, Afro, Gospel, R&B, Funk, Pop, Rock and World music.
