On the recommendation of the expert conference "Singing with children and young people" in the Choir Association of the Protestant Church in Germany „Come on – keep singing!“ follows on from the very successful volume „Mach mit – stimm ein!“ (VS 4190), focuses on the transition from children's to youth choirs and is designed exclusively for equal voices. The pieces are all tried and tested and offer a wide range: from easy to moderately difficult, from monophonic to four-part, from low to wide range, from baroque to pop, taking into account the physiological characteristics of the young voice, especially the as yet undeveloped depth. Included are pieces for experienced youth choirs as well as for developing choirs, and the selection is also suitable for female ensembles in a variety of ways. Thematically, the main categories are environment, human rights and peace. All categories include the path from monophonic to polyphonic, from easy to challenging and from low range to high range. Many pieces, although offered in polyphony, can also be performed in unison.
