Sonate

Wanting to revive the CNSMDP tradition of writing an original piece for the final exam, Mr. Marc Geujon, trumpet professor at the CNSMDP and Principal Trumpet of the Paris Opera, suggested that his students request this from composers. This is how Camille Le Moigne asked me to write this sonata for him, in the neo-classical style. In three movements of different characters, it allows the main aspects of modern trumpet playing to be expressed. André Chpelitch
