Nieminen, Kai: Hathor

Kai Nieminen's enigmatic guitar miniature is like a sounding statue of Hathor, the ancient Egyptian goddess of joy, dance, music, and love. The slowly, dignified descending decorative motifs are accompanied by flute sound rays and alternating gentle and commanding sound columns. At the end of the composition, accompanied by the distant sound of footsteps, Hathor's figure disappears into the shadows of the sky with the confident gestures of a queen.
