Kypta's music corresponds to the usual works composed in the Bohemian countryside in the first half of the 19th century. The orchestration is relatively small and its sound has the strong character of figural music from the Baroque period. Strings, trumpets, timpani and organ, all this is an ancient instrumentation used for more than 200 hundred years. A proof that great music can be made with a small orchestra. Singing was in a 4 part choir with solo voices. Simple disposition, yet beautiful music, is what is said about Kypta today. In his works three different forms are put together in one. Kypta still has his roots in baroque harmonization but his work is characterized by classicist plainness and simplicity. On this basis, however, he applies romantic melodicism. All this forms a charming and almost ingenious mixture which could only have been created during the period at the beginning of the 19th century.
