Author's portrait Julia Kröhn was born in Linz (Austria) in 1975 and lives in Frankfurt am Main. A historian by training, her great passion is not only telling stories, but also dealing with history: When she is not writing a new historical novel or gathering inspiration on research trips, she passes on her knowledge as a history teacher at a grammar school and as a guide at the Historical Museum.
